Counselling
Counselling is a process that involves helping individuals to explore their thoughts, feelings, and behaviors in order to improve their overall well-being. One of my main approaches is person-centred - which is a collaborative relationship between myself and my clients based on empathy and genuineness. I provide a safe space where clients can explore their thoughts and feelings without fear of judgement or criticism.
As a therapist, I work through an anti-oppressive, affirming, and culturally sensitive lens. My methods and modalities include person-centered, strength-based, motivational interviewing, expressive arts, trauma-informed practices, Indigenous and holistic approaches.
Some specializations include:
Domestic violence
Narcissistic abuse awareness and recovery,
Relationship issues
Trauma
